Our host Anita & Gerrie were very friendly, our flight got delayed and checked in around 1930 as opposed to prescribed check in times but they patiently waited for us. The penthouse is beautiful my wife and the loved it, it’s home away from home and most importantly it’s in secure location. The property has access control and the passenger elevator to upper floors. The television, aircon and WiFi were all functional perfectly and during our week long stay we never experienced load shedding. They had provided lamps that could be used during load shedding and also had ups charging ports for gadgets. The property is located right on Chapmans Peak drive and I loved it because my family waited for me by the observation point without having to travel a distance as I was running Two Oceans Ultra Marathon. Overall experience great we would do it again next year coming to Two Oceans. From my wife, the kids and Kgosie thank you Anita & Gerrie for being such a super host.

It is a beautiful, light-filled apartment that is perfect for unwinding and taking a break from the world. The view from the kitchen made cooking such an enjoyable experience and its proximity to the beach allowed us to start every morning with a swim. Anita and Gerrie were welcoming and responsive hosts, providing clear check-in and check-out instructions and promptly responding to any issues such as loadshedding or city water outages. I can't recommend this place enough and look forward to coming back!

This apartment is absolutely magnificent. The photos don’t actually do it any justice as it is far better in person and very spacious and homely and wonderfully furnished. Anita and Gerrie has brilliant attention to detail and the apartment is very well equipped and makes a stay so easy and comfortable. The apartment was squeaky clean and I was very impressed with the quality of linen as well as kitchen “equipment”. This listing is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a “perfect and comfortable “ stay. Well done Anita and Gerrie, you sure know how to furnish and equip an apartment. 10/10 for you two.

Anita & Gerrie were great!!! Extremely helpful and understanding when we had a big delay to our flight and arrived over 4 hours later than originally agreed. Great communication throughout our stay too! The apartment itself is very well located, only a very short walk away from both Chapman's Peak Drive and Hout Bay beach. The apartment felt very safe and secure, with great underground car parking too. It's a spacious apartment and has several local shops and restaurants around so it's easy to stock up for a stay!

Absolutely breathtaking space. Right close to the beach and walking distance to numerous restaurants and grocery stores. Super convenient location. The space is beautifully decorated and is quite spacious. Anita also has everything you could possibly need in terms of utilities in the apartment which makes it feel like home. The pictures on the Internet do not do justice to the property which is modern and much nicer physically than on the gallery itself. The location was convenient in the sense that restaurants and shops are a walking distance. And it not the ordinary restaurants like Nandos, which allows one to experiment. The tall ceilings and the architecture of the apartment is out of this world and the views from the back bedrooms where one is in touch with nature, its to die for!! It helps that there are 3 bathrooms as this allows some level of privacy for the adults.

This apartment is more spacious than the pics show and very light and airy. It has everything you need to self cater but is also walking distance from 5 or 6 different good restaurants.

The apartment was elegant yet homely and secure. The apartment balcony also provided us with stunning views of the nearby ocean and surrounding mountains. The apartment is also conveniently located near sightseeing areas, popular beaches and grocery stores which was a huge advantage for us. Thank you very much Anita and Gerrie for being great hosts.

We had a fabulous 10 day stay in Hout Bay, using 2 apartments managed by Anita & Gerrie. We know the local area well and this was our second visit staying in Red Sails. Location is perfect for us, away from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town, but close enough to be in and out of the city everyday. We love Hout Bay and the immediate amenities around the apartment were perfect, everything we needed was within a 5/10 minute stroll from our front door - including the beautiful beach. My elderly father has mobility limitations and having an elevator from the underground garage to the apartment was a real blessing. The apartments themselves are well equipped and very spacious. We had 3 bathrooms and a BBQ on the balcony - we needed nothing more! The accommodation was perfectly clean and our request for a mid-stay changeover on one flat was received without any question. Communication with Anita and Gerrie was always very quick and reliable. We will certainly be back to Hout Bay for our next Cape Town visit. Thank you Anita and Gerrie.

Worth it! Excellent location with Woolies and Pick and Pay within walking distance, OK Mini Mart across the street, and 13 restaurants within 2 minutes walk. Gorgeous views with the beach 2 minute walk and Chapman's Peak Drive 2 minute walk. I highly recommend it. Just don't book it when I'm back in town because this is definitely where I'm staying!

Fantastic apartment. The pics do not do it justice; the living area is huge and open plan and all furnishings are clean, modern and comfortable. Few mins walk to Hout Bay beach, shops, cafes and restaurants literally on your doorstep. Easy access to road to Cape Point/Boulders Bay/Muizenberg and access in opposite direction to Constantia and Newlands. Fantastic beach at Llandudno less than 10 mins. It's a great location for exploring Cape Town, city centre around 25/30 mins drive and Table Mountain around 20 mins drive. We absolutely loved it.

We had a wonderful stay here. It is modern and very stylish. When we arrived the apartment was even better than what the pictures depicted. The apartment is convenient to the beach and restaurants and we were able to walk everywhere. It was also extremely clean. The hosts were very responsive and check out and check in were a breeze. We spent many mornings having breakfast on the balcony and the day out and about. It was a pleasure to come home to this apartment.

This a delightful apartment in a very good location for exploring Cape Town and surrounding areas. We really enjoyed our stay there. It can be quite lively in the street outside on some evenings but that all adds to the fun! Anita and Gerrie are very welcoming hosts.

My wife and I have stayed in a number of apartments in Hout Bay over the past few years most of which were significantly more expensive than the Chapman's Peak Penthouse. The comfort, spaciousness and brightness leave it head and shoulders above the others that we have rented. The cleaner, who came every week, left the flat immaculate. The flat is extremely well equipped and the wifi is the fastest we have experienced in South Africa. The security is also excellent. There are roughly 10 restaurants within two minutes walk covering just about every ethnicity. Anita was a very pleasant and attentive hostess. We spent a month here and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

We all thought it was fantastic! The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. The elevator really helps with getting your luggage from the secure parking area to the penthouse. Its location makes it all the better as the beach is a stone's throw away and lots of choice when it comes to dining out or going on a scenic drive of Chapman's Peak and the surrounding areas. Anita was very professional, friendly and helpful. We would most certainly recommend a stay in the penthouse apartment in Hout Bay!

5 nachten verbleven wij met ons gezin (5 pers) in Hout Bay. Het appartement geeft veel daglicht en is modern en sfeervol ingericht. Na een drukke dag voelt het als thuis komen en dat is met kinderen dan toch erg belangrijk. Goede bedden, mooie badkamers en een geriefelijke keuken. Ook de aanwezigheid van de wasmachine en droogrek was welkom naar onze reis vanaf het Kruger park. Cape Town was onze eind bestemming en vanuit Hout Bay is het goed te doen om allerlei activiteiten in deze bijzondere stad te ondernemen. Op loopafstand van ons appartement is het strand, restaurants en winkels. Bij mooi weer is het lekker zitten op het balkon om zo al de bedrijvigheid op straat gaarde te slaan. In afgesloten parkeergarage onder het complex is een ruime parkeerplaats. Gerrie en Anita staan altijd voor je klaar als dat nodig is. Gerrie en Anita hebben ons erg goed geholpen met advies bij het samenstellen van onze vakantie.

We stayed 40 days in Hout Bay and we already miss our beautiful flat. Everything lived up to our expectations. The photos on the webpage of Lobecotours truly resemble reality. The flat was attractive and tasteful, looked new, clean and appealing. Overall very good quality! We had the most exciting experience with Anita & Gerrie. The fast and accurate response we received after having various practical enquiries was highly appreciated.
